Unable to log on to Yahoo e-mail accounts for a couple of weeks

For the past two weeks and more I've had difficulty getting access to my Yahoo e-mail accounts. I've also noticed that Firefox is updating more and more, sometimes days in a row. Yahoo says the problem might be with the way Firefox handles my account. I don't know how to do enable Yahoo cookies. :-( Being unable to access my e-mail is a serious matter for me. I've used about a dozen new passwords in just a couple of weeks and am frustrated beyond words. This has never happened to me before. Help, please!
