Firefox security issue with localhost:6547 question

Rod Storer

I have a APC UPS and the software provides status information on localhost 6547. For the last 9 months since I got this UPS this has not ever been an issue, but for the last three days I keep getting an error message when the APC software tries to open a tab in Firefox. The error message is "Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with localhost:6547".

How do I make an exception for the APC software so I don't have to authorize Firefox to open the tab every time I want to look at status information for the APC UPS now?

This is a certificate error. Check your certificate on https://certlogik.com/decoder and update it if you can.
