my browser is lagging too much
when i use firefox browser it is lagging too much even if its youtube,chatgpt or a react web app i try to run locally it is lagging very very much when i use other browser there is no issues i really liked firefox and dont prefer to switch, what should i do

I’d start by assuming something is wrong with that Firefox install rather than your PC, especially since Chrome/another browser runs fine.
Try this first: open Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (Help → Troubleshoot Mode). If the lag disappears, an extension or theme is probably causing it. If it still lags, go to Settings → General → Performance, turn off “Use recommended performance settings” and test with hardware acceleration disabled.
I’d also check about:processes while YouTube or your React app is running. That can show whether a particular tab or extension is eating CPU. If none of that changes anything, Refresh Firefox is worth trying before giving up on it. That keeps your bookmarks/passwords but resets a lot of the configuration that can get messed up.
If you can send me a screenshot of Firefox’s about:processes page while it’s lagging, I can help narrow down what’s actually causing it.
