Why firefox browser treats incognito as normal browser?

Why, for some reason, has Mozilla recently started treating incognito tabs as the default search engine? When I closed the main browser, left the incognito window open, and restarted it, all my open and grouped tabs (over 300) were deleted, and when I closed the incognito window, it asked me if I wanted to close all tabs as if I had any way to reopen them. This is the first time I’ve encountered this, because it wasn’t like that before. Why does Incognito behave like a regular tab, and why does this affect the main tabs, which aren’t and shouldn’t be linked to Incognito?

Did you check "History -> Restore Previous Session" and "History -> Recently Closed Windows/Tabs" (you can only restore up to three windows)?
