new update bug???
New update won't let about 80% of my pages load at all. They just sit there and constantly refresh, so that you can't actually browse the site.

That sounds really frustrating especially when it affects most of your browsing. This kind of issue in Mozilla Firefox usually points to something conflicting after the update rather than the sites themselves. The constant refreshing is often caused by extensions, caching issues, or network/security settings.
Here are a few things that typically fix it:
1. Start with Troubleshoot Mode (quick test) Go to Help → Troubleshoot Mode.
If pages load normally there, an extension is the culprit.
2. Disable extensions (especially ad blockers/security tools) Extensions like ad blockers, VPNs, or privacy tools can break page loading after updates.
Disable them all, then re-enable one by one to find the problem.
3. Clear cache and cookies Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.
Corrupted cache can cause infinite reload loops.
4. Turn off “HTTPS-Only Mode” (temporarily) Settings → Privacy & Security → HTTPS-Only Mode
Some sites can get stuck in a reload loop if there’s a conflict.
5. Check “Enhanced Tracking Protection” Try setting it to Standard instead of Strict to test.
6. Try a new profile (very effective fix) Type about:profiles → create a new profile → test browsing
If it works, your current profile likely got corrupted during the update.
7. Disable hardware acceleration Settings → General → Performance → uncheck “Use recommended performance settings” → disable hardware acceleration.
