Unfortunately the most current Firefox you can run on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 is the Firefox 115 ESR currently at 115.33.0esr.

Firefox 116.0 to the current Fx 148.0.2 Release and Fx 140.8.0esr requires Windows 10, 11 to run.
