Since upgrading to 147 last night, ChatGPT does not work and there are issues with other websites (Amazon side bar). Numerous people reported it on reddit. Any suggestions for a fix?

I know this is not a fix BUT yes I am having the exact same problem with ChatGPT since updating.

Found this solution from reddit -

Go to about:config search: network.http.accept-encoding.secure

REMOVE "br", so the parameter should say only:

gzip, deflate, zstd

Save edits and restart Firefox.

Try to go to about:config and set network.http.dictionaries.enable to false.

Removing br is not a good solution.
