Fire Fox gives me an erroneous statement about user name or password being incorrect trying to log in to a web site

more options

When I try to sign in to a particular site FireFox gives me this warning:

"Your username or password is incorrect.

You can try again or skip the password by scanning the QR code on this page."

However, the user name and password ARE correct and I can log into the site with that username and password on other browsers like Safari.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hi

That does not sound like a message from Firefox. It may be something that you will need to contact the website that you are trying to sign into about.

Thank you but why does the name and password work with a different browser?

Does Fire Fox have cookies that I can delete?

Thank you again.
