Missing Home icon in Firefox iOS 18.6
Since a recent update to iOS, my Firefox app no longer shows a "Home" icon at the bottom of the page. As a result, it is extremely difficult to go back to my home page. I've tried every possible way I can think of in Settings to restore the Home icon. This is VERY frustrating and causes a huge waste of time. Does anyone have a solution. If I can't resolve this, I'm going to be forced to switch to Safari.

I found this and it worked... mostly. The latest design for Firefox has way too many options for the Home page settings. It is way too easy to set the home page to be a huge mess of prior pages with no easy way to find your actual home page. This is the first time in over 15 years of using Firefox on Apple iOS or OS that I find I REALLY do not like it's overly complicated design.
Solution found: Based on recent user reports, the Home button was intentionally removed from the Firefox iOS toolbar in a recent update. To get the button back, you need to turn off the "Install and Run Studies" feature in the app settings.
Restore the Home button
Open the Firefox app on your iOS device. Tap the three-line menu (☰) in the bottom-right corner. Select Settings. Navigate to the Data Collection section. Turn off the setting for Install and Run Studies. Restart the Firefox app. The Home icon should now be restored to the toolbar.
