Hi!

To delete all synced data from your Firefox Account (browsing history, passwords, payment methods, extensions, bookmarks, favorites, and themes), follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Firefox Account: Open Firefox and go to Settings (click the three lines in the upper-right corner and select "Settings"). Go to the Firefox Account section, or click your email address if you're already signed in.

2. Access your account management: Click "Manage Account" or visit the Firefox Accounts website directly: accounts.firefox.com. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your account.

3. Delete your data: On your Firefox Account page, find the Delete Account option (usually at the bottom of the page under "Data & Permissions" or a similar section). Click "Delete Account" and follow the instructions. You may be asked to confirm your password or provide additional identity verification. You will be asked to confirm which data you want to delete. Make sure that all categories (history, passwords, bookmarks, extensions, etc.) are selected.

4. Local browser data: If you also want to delete data stored locally on your device, go to Settings > Privacy & security > Cookies & website data > Clear data. Select all options (cookies, cache, passwords, etc.). For browsing history: Go to History > Clear history and select all categories (browsing history, forms, cookies, etc.) and the time range "All time".

5. Sync on other devices: If you use Firefox on multiple devices, make sure that all devices are signed out of your account or sync is disabled before deleting your account. You can check this in "Manage account" > "Connected devices".

6. Confirm deletion: After deleting your account, Mozilla will delete all synced data from its servers. You may receive a confirmation email that your account has been successfully deleted.

I hope I helped you!

Hi Vexi, I do not want to delete my Mozilla account as it is linked to my Firefox Relay. Is there any way I can do this without deleting my Mozilla account?

Hello! To do this without deleting your account, try these steps:

1. Turn off sync on all devices First, on all devices where you use Firefox:

Open Firefox and click on the ☰ menu (top right).

Select Settings > Sync.

Click Sign out or turn off sync.

Repeat this step on all devices (computer, phone, tablet ...).

This will prevent further syncing between devices.

2. Manually delete data on each device To ensure that the data is truly deleted:

Passwords Menu ☰ > Settings > Privacy & Security > Saved Passwords > Remove Manually.

Browsing History Menu ☰ > History > Clear Recent History.

Recommended: select the "All" time period.

Payment Methods Settings > Privacy & Security > Saved Payments > Remove.

Bookmarks & Favorites Menu ☰ > Library > Bookmarks > Manually remove unused ones.

Extensions & Themes Menu ☰ > Add-ons & Themes > Remove installed add-ons.

I hope I helped you!
