How do I disable Quick Find turning on everytime I press /

Whenever I click the / key when not typing, it pops up a quick find menu. This is a issue it interferes when I'm using the calculator

Try setting accessibility.typeaheadfind.manual Firefox preference to false in the Configuration Editor:

Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.
A warning page may appear. Click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to go to the about:config page.
Enter accessibility.typeaheadfind.manual in the Search preference name box.
Set the accessibility.typeaheadfind.manual preference (named exactly like that) to false by toggling the Toggle button (or just double-click on the preference).
