Video files won't play on the msn.com website; the same videos will play on another browser, but not on Firefox. What do setting I need to change?

Thank you.

Update Firefox: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Firefox. Go to the menu (three horizontal lines) > Help > About Firefox to check for updates.

   1. Clear Cache and Cookies: Corrupted cache or cookies can cause playback issues. To clear them:
       ◦ Click on the menu button and go to Settings.
       ◦ Select Privacy & Security.
       ◦ Under "Cookies and Site Data," click on Clear Data.
       ◦ Select both "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content," then click Clear.
   2. Check Permissions: Ensure that the site has permission to play media:
       ◦ Click on the padlock icon in the address bar when on the MSN.com website.
       ◦ Check the permissions for "Autoplay" and ensure it is set to "Allow Audio and Video."
   3. Disable Hardware Acceleration: Sometimes, hardware acceleration can cause playback issues:
       ◦ Go to Settings > General.
       ◦ Scroll down to the "Performance" section and uncheck "Use recommended performance settings."
       ◦ Uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available."
   4. Check for Extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with video playback. Try disabling extensions:
       ◦ Click on the menu button and go to Add-ons and themes.
       ◦ Disable all extensions and try playing the video again. If it works, re-enable them one by one to identify the culprit.
   5. Check Content Blocking Settings: Firefox has built-in content blocking features that may prevent videos from playing:
       ◦ Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
       ◦ Under "Enhanced Tracking Protection," try setting it to "Standard" or "Custom" and adjust the settings to allow necessary content.
   6. Try Safe Mode: Firefox's Safe Mode disables extensions and uses default settings:
       ◦ Click on the menu button, go to Help, and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
       ◦ Try playing the video in Safe Mode.
   7. Check for Network Issues: Ensure that your internet connection is stable. Sometimes, network issues can affect video playback.
   8. Reset Firefox: If none of the above steps work, you can reset Firefox to its default settings:
       ◦ Go to Help > Troubleshooting Information and click on Refresh Firefox.
