How can I eliminate the Firefox prevented this page from opening when I specifically want to open that page?

I get this warning every time I click on a link. It wants me to "allow" which, by clicking the link, indicates that in fact I want to allow the page. It's annoying, and has only started showing up since the last update. Using Firefox136.0.4. on a Mac running Sonoma 14.

It would help if a link of what page was asking this would help others see what is happening? And post a screenshot of the error so others can compare if they get the same problem or not. And does this happen for any other computer and OS going to the same site?

If I click on a photo (link) or a typed link, they both give me a page like this: this happens on Bluesky, but also other sites. And is a new problem. Then I have to click 'allow' which is just an annoyance. It never did this before.

The instructions from Firefox re: this problem reference Settings which no longer apply, or do not show on my preferences, i.e. Advanced, Accessability, etc.

So link to the affected site?

https://bsky.app/ There are no options on Bluesky settings for this. Everything else works fine.

What device are you using for this site.

Using Firefox136.0.4. on a Mac desktop running Sonoma 14.

Going to have to try on my Windows OS and FF136.0.4 to see what happens.

If I press to open in a separate tab, the page opens just fine. But it's still another step. There is nowhere to select open in new tab on Bluesky, and the option is already selected in Firefox to open in a new tab, which is where the error message shows.
