How to get the latest Firefox version for Win7?
How to get the latest Firefox version for Win7? My Firefox shows me that I am using the latest Firefox version which is 115. By I get messages from other websites, that my Firefox is outdated. Google shows me that the newest version of Firefox is 136. Why I am not getting it for my Win7 OS?
I am using the latest Windows which is still not bloatware/ spyware - Windows 7. I think, I am not the only one person in the world who is not going to update Windows 7, to later Win versions, until Microsoft will change it's attitude to the client interests. I would better switch to Linux than to update my Win7 to Win8, Win10, Win11.
Please, make all newest updates accessible for Win7.

Yes, you have the latest Firefox for Windows 7. Firefox is the last browser that provides security updates for Win7 OS.
Pls read Firefox users on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 moving to Extended Support Release for more information.
You can of course switch to Linux, it is a suggested solution.

Firefox 116.0 and later including the Firefox 128 ESR and Fx 136.0.2 Release requires Windows 10, 11 to run.
Firefox 115 ESR currently at 115.21.0esr is the latest you can run on the EOL Windows 7, 8, 8.1. The last planned update will be Fx 115.27.0esr in August unless Mozilla extends updates again.
Dual booting with a Linux distro may be your best bet to using the current versions of Firefox. A downside with Linux is unless you use a LTS version you may not get package updates after a time as the distro version is made EOL. So I suggest learning how to setup and use the Linux tarball version of Firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/desktop-release/ to continue to get internal Firefox updates from Mozilla.
A common theme I see here with Linux users is they find they are stuck with some ransom old version of Firefox because their version of Linux distro was made EOL in package updates. With Debian Buster for example the last Firefox update was 115.12.0esr which is one update behind the minimum needed to not be affected by https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/root-certificate-expiration
I do suggest using a lighter desktop like Xfce, Mate and such over the heavy KDE and Gnome. Also make sure packages like FFmpeg is installed so you can full support HTML5 players for video, audio, games as this package is not installed in a new Linux distro install.
Also at least Mozilla is still supporting the eol Windows 7, 8, 8.1 with the older Firefox 115 ESR as the Chrome/Chromium based browsers dropped support back in Jan/Feb 2023.
