How do I stop Firefox from opening Finder in a new window? I don't want to have to go back and forth between windows. The same thing happens when I open a PDF. Thanks.

Answered it myself. To anyone else who has this problem: Right click on Finder, click on options, "assign to" all Desktops. Mine was assigned to Desktop 2 (Safari?) for some reason.
