Restore bookemarks and passwords from previouos computer

My hard drive recently crashed but I was able to recover all the c drive files. I found the firefox profiles and have copied the entire folder onto my desktop in the new windows 11 computer. I can't seem to sync those bookmarks and passwords to the firefox. I think I need to change the default profile but can't get that to happen. I have copied the profile from the crashed computer to the profiles folder on the new one. Please help guide me through the process.
