Hi community!

For some reason, the short description of an email is now under the subject instead of besides it in the overview. This does something to my head that, atleast for me, makes it cluttery and hard to hover over who sent me email. I want a column with who sent me mail, then I want right of it a short description, the start of the mail, just like it always was. It takes vertical space so less email is visible and my head has to switch from "from" to "content" to "from" to "content" which is for some reason very tiring. It's one of the reasons I hate outlook... Please don't tell me Thunderbird changed into outlook -_-

How do I change this back to the way it was?

Chosen solution

Figured it out with the help of Uncle Chat! (chatgpt). Turns out I want table view and didn't know how to describe that properly.

In the View menu, go to layout and then enable "Message List Header" then on the top right of the window, there is a Quick Filter option and besides that an icon which I don't know what it looks like, click that and select column view and fixed!
