Can't access server

Everythiung was wworking fine. Then, with me not changing anything, I suddenly couldn't receive or send emails. When I try, I get an error message saying "Sending of user name did not succeed. Mail server mail.optonline.net responded: AUTH CRAM-MD5 not supported."

I contact and they say it's a Mozilla issue, not Optimum. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Maybe if you post screenshots of incoming and outgoing server settings, some suggestions will surface.
