Lost my emails contacts etc.
When my Thunderbird was hanging, I decided to reload the program. All my previous emails and addresses were gone. When I tried to input an earlier profile, I received an error message. The error console did not explain the problem. My lost emails are somewhere resident on my hard drive, but I don't know how to get to them.

If I cannot find the proper profile on my hard drive, is all my data lost? How can Thunderbird mess me up like this. I would not recommend it to anyone as a browser. It generates irrecoverable losses. Unbelievable.
These lost emails were on my hard drive somewhere. They don't simply vanish. There has to be a way to find them and retrieve them.
Tried all 4 of my available profiles and they only showed the very recent emails. Is there any way to go back further for a profile I may have been using about one week ago?
I should be more specific. Some of my profiles were created a few days ago when I re-installed Thunderbird and so the emails were only from the past week. The remainder of the profiles were created in 2019 so using them gave me only emails earlier than 2020. What about emails 2020 to 2024?
