On startup, Thunderbird hangs up for about 2 to 3 minutes. Also hangs up sporadically there after making use of Thunderbird almost useless. This is a recent problem. Have been using Thurderbird for years without any trouble. How do I fix this problem.

What is your version number please, and OS?
