When I recieve long e-mails that I must forward to others how do I edit parts of the text of the e-mails so some infos keep confidentials for some of the recipients and do not become public to all ? Do I have to rewrite the text everytime for each of the ?

Thunderbird does not offer the ability to send to many people, yet hide content from some. You would need to send a separate email to each group.
