About 40 emails have been deleted from a sub folder on the side of my Thunderbird and I can't seem to find a solution to get them back. It happened I believe after I chose to "repair folder" option. Please help!

About 40 emails have been deleted from a sub folder on the side of my Thunderbird and I can't seem to find a solution to get them back. It happened I believe after I chose to "repair folder" option. Please help!

Repair folder deleted nothing. It does however occasionally show up emails that were already missing as it rebuilds the index into the file the messages are stored in.

Right click the folder and select properties and then look at the size on disk of the content of the folder. is it almost nothing? or might another repair fix the index that an antivirus program may have prevented being correctly written.
