Unattach email to 'local' folders

I just migrated to a new computer. I like having all my different email addresses as different inboxes in Thunderbird. Years ago when I first starting using Thunderbird the 'Local Folders' folder was tagged to the first email I entered. Is there a way to un-link that email to that folder? I would like it to be its own folder and have no email address associated with 'Local Folders'. Is that possible?

I do not understand. I have IMAP and POP accounts and none are using Local Folders.
