Log in attempts go to phishing sites
All of a sudden two of my aol accounts won't sign in. I get a browser screen that looks like an aol sign in window and says to enter my aol log in credentials, but the URL is something else. Clearly bogus stuff, and surely attempts at phishing credentials. One other aol account still seems to log in just fine.

I do not understand what happens under the hood at Yahoo, what they do makes less sense as time goes by.
But I think those fake URL's are actually Yahoo advertising links, as AOL is Yahoo, it may be you are simply being asked to re-authenticate. If you doubt the legitimacy of the URL's, I suggest you conact AOL about the specific URL
Thanks for responding. The request definitely isn't to re-authenticate since the URL is not an actual aol (or even yahoo) domain. The login image looks like aol's window, but it's bogus. Part of the puzzle is why 2 of 3 aol accounts are being hijacked, but not the third. I even changed the passwords and it made no difference. Also rebooted. Still happening. When I sign in directly to aol on google, everything is fine. When Thunderbird attempts to sign into my account it generates the bad pages.
