Firefox Sync doesn't reliably sync

more options

So, I'm switching back to Edge, again, because something basic with browsers isn't working in FF, again. This time it's syncing via Firefox Sync.

Three Windows 10 PCs and an Android Phone. All are connected to my Firefox account, all are set to sync everything - bookmarks, history, accounts/passwords, extensions, etc. The only thing that is currently reliably syncing between devices are the extensions.

A few days ago I posted about how nigh impossible it is to manage the saved accounts/passwords in FF because it takes forever to select one, manage it, confirm it, then move to the next, whereas Edge you can just select AND manage in one click, or multi-select to delete.

My work around to that was to just nuke everything via the menu, manage the accounts in Edge and re-import them back to FF. This worked for the one instance of FF on that one PC. The other PCs got only partial data synced, but I was able to see the entire changed data set in Edge on the other PCs.

Today, I added a bookmark via my phone. It did not sync. Even after confirming that sync is enabled, and even after specifically telling FF on the phone to sync, then FF on the desktop to sync.

Every install of FF is updated to current.

I'm beginning to not care what Google does with the Manifest and trust, maybe naively, that the extensions developers will find a way.
