Is it possible to rename the Thunderbird Junk folder?

I've been plagued from the beginning by the similarity of the terms 'Junk' and 'Trash,' so I figured I'd rename the Junk folder 'Spam.' Right-clicking on the folder suggests this is possible, but when I type in 'Spam,' the folder simply disappears from the list. So I restart Thunderbird and 'Junk' is back on the list. Is it possible to rename this folder, and what is the procedure? Many thanks!

The precise name of that folder tends to be dictated by your mail provider. So it is not a good idea to change it.
