print screen giving black screen

Good afternoon, Yesterday, november 22nd 2023 i was watching TV via my firefox browser at the computer and whenever i saw something i wanted to screengrab i would press print screen and then paste the image into Photoshop for further editing, but all i get now is a big black screen, not the image i had screengrabbed, this used to happen in chrome and that is the reason why i switched to firefox, because this feature still worked in firefox, but today after the update to version 120.0(64-bit) this function now also returns a black screen when pasting into photoshop. Is there a way i can use this feature again? or is this feature gone forever? This was all working okay until this update
