Hello,

With the new Supernova version 115.4.2, something in my address book no longer works as before.

“Display name instead of name from header”

is very important to me because it contains important information about the sender. Unfortunately it is no longer displayed in the email overview, even though I have checked all the boxes correctly.

What can I do about that?

You can see in the email that only the address is displayed, but not the display name.

Check you have this setting:

  • Settings > General
  • Scroll to 'Reading & Display' section
  • 'Display name'
  • Select checkbox 'Show only display name for people in my address book'

Wow...Thank you very much, that was the solution. I read the text, but it didn't occur to me that that could be it. You're just great here...thank you so much for the help. I'll do something easy with Paypal right away....

Since I received excellent help here, I wanted to transfer something to Mozilla's Paypal account. Unfortunately I can't find the Paypal link anymore. Can someone help me? ;-)
