keypad disappears

I was using Firefox, can't remember exactly what steps, but when I went to type in new search keypad kept closing instantly before I had the chance to enter any txt. Had to quit and restart Firefox to get keypad to stay open. Any idea wht might cause this and how to avoid it in future?

Don't know, it's presumably Samsung, comes with the phone. If you need to know more please let me know how to determine. Thnx 4 reply G.
