Drafts folder shows multiple entries for an unsent message

When I'm composing a longish email message, I often suspend that task temporarily, to work on some other task. [See uploaded image of screenshot]

I'm guessing that each entry within the draft message holds the content of the message at the time it was suspended.

Is that the case?

Yes, as you compose in IMAP, the message saved each time as a duplicate. The only solution I've found is to change the folder to be a local folder.
