I have been using Firefox on OpenSuse Tumbleweed. When media is playing in Firefox, the media player widget says, "Firefox is playing Media". There is no thumbnail or title. I have tried on multiple websites, and all are the same.

media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled is set to true.

Chromium on the same system shows the title and progress bar, but no thumbnail.

You have already shown that you get different info from the media player with different browsers and sites. This is not a Mozilla issue IMHO, but a KDE issue since the media player is part of the desktop.

Thanks for your help. BTW, the third screenshot was when Chromium was playing media. I can't get Firefox to display any media info from any sites- Youtube, Bandcamp, Spotify, e.t.c.

It might be a problem with my Firefox config, as I have hardened it quite a bit.

I will try Firefox ESR, and if I still have problems, I'll ask the folks at KDE.

Thanks again.

Just to be sure, make sure you have FFmpeg installed to fully support HTML5 players for video, audio and games.
