Incoming emails that are meant to arrive silently are triggering notification in system tray and Local Folder
Ever since the big upgrade a few weeks ago (the one that introduced the Spaces Toolbar), email addresses that SHOULDN'T be giving me a notification of new mail, are. It's very annoying to then go to the program and discover it's an unimportant email I've been alerted to.
More detailed explanation: I use the global inbox to receive email from 7 different email addresses. I've set up a complex set of filters to colour code the emails and some of them are set to be marked-as-read as soon as they arrive. They're the kind of emails I want to read the next time I look at the program but don't want to be alerted to them. But since the recent upgrade to Thunderbird a few weeks ago, I now get alerted that new email has arrived in my system tray (icon with red dot) and 'Local Folders' (the words) are bold and blue, even when these 'marked-as-read' emails arrive. Is there anyway to stop being notified that emails that are meant to arrive silently do not trigger notifications? It worked perfectly before the recent big upgrade.
I'm currently on Thunderbird 102.3.1 (Windows 10). I haven't changed anything about my email.
Many thanks, Averill
