I just spent hours and hours writing a great business description (start up) and I dont know what happened exactly but it went away and I think I may have hit the < back button maybe because the precious description was gone and it my old bio there in its place. Is there a way to find it?

No there is no restore if you backup the page unless the site has online cache that you can forward click to go back if it saved the inputs. But if there is none then there isn't anything Firefox can do here-that is up to the site on how it saves data input if you backspace and go forward click to find it agian.
