Can't get Firefox icon to show Android home screen!
I have FF installed on my Android, but can only get to it by tapping SETTINGS/APPS/Firefox. I am unable to create an icon or 'shortcut' to reside on the Android's home screen where it would be most convenient. Has anyone experienced issues of this nature or have any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?
Any and all input is welcome and appreciated.
Thanks for your help in advance...
You should not need to open Settings. If you open the application drawer (typically a grid icon), you should see all of the installed apps on your device. You should then be able to drag it from there to a position on your home screen.Read this answer in context 👍 0

When you installed Firefox for Android, an icon should have been added to the Android home screen. If not, open the application drawer, long press on the Firefox for Android icon and drag it to a position on your home screen.
I hope that this helps.
Thank you for your response. When I Installed FF, It did not show up on "any" of the Screens on my Phone. My only method of accessing it was the SETTINGS/APPS/Firefox routine. It appears to act normal when activated this way, but is definitely cumbersome. When I do access it via SETTINGS/APPS/Firefox and attempt to Slide it to the Phone's home screen, AKA 'Create a Shortcut', nothing happens and the FF App icon is completely unmovable. I think I'm going to just uninstall Firefox and then try to reinstall it. I'll let you know if that works. Thanks again.

Very Good!!!! I found a hidden Icon on the Home screen that was labeled Home Screen Settings that had a Menu Item Labeled "Apps Button" and it was turned OFF. I turned it on and the Apps icon showed up on my home screen. Using it, I found the FFox Icon and was able to slide to the home screen.. GOOD JOB!! All's well and I really appreciate your help - Big Thank You.
