Hi, I'm trying to sign up for Mozilla VPN for the first time. I'm traveling outside the US and payment options for Mozilla VPN are displayed in Euros even though I'm not currently in Europe. My credit cards are from the US and when I try to make the payment, I receive this error message: "The currency of this subscription is not valid for the country associated with your payment". I get the same error when I use PayPal.

I'm guessing I need to change something about my location to get subscription prices to display in US Dollars. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there,

thank you for posting on the forum.

It sounds indeed like an IP address problem. Do you maybe have any other VPN´s installed on your device already? It also depends where you try to download it (PC or mobile device in app store?) If you are in the app store you can update your location - look for this option on Google depending if you are on iOS or Android. If you have any problems please let us know.

If you are on a PC please delete your browser history as well as cookies and cache. Go to iplocation.net and check what location is displayed for you. It should be about the same place as your real time location.

I hope you are able to solve the problem, otherwise you can reach out again. Please let us know what operating system and device you are using, if you have further issues.

Good luck!
