hi folks,

I have a folder with stored old emails that I would like to share with another user. I want to transfer these 300+ emails from my computer and my Thunderbird program to another persons computer with their own version of Thunderbird. Is there an easy way for me to copy this entire folder (without all the other myriad emails and folders in my Thunderbird) and send it to this other person and then have them upload it to their Thunderbird so they can access these emails?

Thanks dewey

Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, to open the profile folder, close TB. Find the mbox file for the folder (it has the same name as the folder and has no extension) in the account subfolder of Mail or ImapMail, or Mail/Local Folders. Copy the mbox file to a location such as Documents. Open TB and attach the mbox file (or a zipped version) to a new message (as long as the file is within the mail provider's size limits). The recipient should save the mbox file to e.g. Downloads, and copy it into the Mail/Local Folders location of their profile, with TB closed. When TB restarts, the folder should appear under Local Folders in the Folder Pane.
