tab on another screen reshrinks and hides from visible area

Dear team, I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) with an external 2k display connected. Firefox 85 (64bit) running on the external display. I opening a link, which will open a new window.. clicking on the new window, the window reshrinks 2-3 times and hides (or crashes?) from my point of view. I am not able to open a new window by the same link again, it keeps to be invisible. I was yet able to reproduce this behaviour 2 times. I am thinking about a problem with high dpi scaling on the internal display and not scaling dpi on the external display. Has anyone seen problems like this?
