I'm a tech in an Enterprise environment and we have a user with a Win 7 desktop whose Firefox keeps uninstalling itself. People will reinstall it and it will be fine for a few days and then it disappears again. We talked about reimaging the computer but I don't want to do that if it won't fix the problem.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks.

I think we figured it out. I don't think it's a fault of Firefox at all but I'm told it's a controlled app here and if the computer isn't on an approved list it will be removed. We walked the user through submitting the appropriate request and hopefully that will resolve the problem.

OK, that's one I've never heard of. Can you provide a little more detail? Does the user see it being uninstalled? Are the files gone from the file system?
