Hi, I've just ditched windows live mail, call me a dinosaur at 72! After a steep learning curve I have come to like it. One question for now;

How can I nest address book folders (Plural) in a root or branch structure?

if unable to in the original app is there an extension or addon that will allow this?

Regards. Whatsisname

The TB Address Book is not intended as a full contact manager. Multiple address books and mailing lists are supported, and contacts can be copied or moved by drag and drop. There are several add-ons for managing various functions to do with contacts, but none that I'm aware of that offer nested address book structures.

Address books exist at the same level in Address Book and cannot be nested within a branch structure. A mailing list is a subset of an address book and does show as a nested element, but it's only a list of addresses, not the full contact data.

Thank you sfhowes, I am aware of the mailing list but I believe using it would involve removing unrequired addresses from a single recipient email, a work around too far me thinks. I take it there are no other extensions or add-ons?

Failing that, are there any really good stand alone address apps that might provide a work around? With over 400 e addresses in 20 sets and subsets nesting is most efficient.

Regards. PS. using W10 v 2004 and TB 78.2.0 (32 bit) Is there a way to edit posts?
