Recover passwords after upgrade to v79

Hi, I just updated Firefox to the latest version, which appears to be a major upgrade. As I was not warned in any way to remove the Master Password prior to upgrading, I did not do so, meaning I lost all my stored logins. Hoping that the original password/login database was not (yet) deleted, and not using any cloud services of any sort, I would like to know whether there is any way to recover the password/login data. I sure hope there is, if not Mozilla made a major mistake in their migration strategy IMHO. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Bye, Bo

Moved this question to the Firefox for Android Support Forum, <https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1301081>, given that v79 is not a beta version (although is probably should have remained one).
