Firefox Lite ad blocking
Is Firefox Lite turbo mode supposed to block all ads?
Chosen solution
Hi Fritz
The Turbo Mode in Firefox Lite blocks ad trackers. The adverts that you may be seeing do not have tracking in them which is what the Turbo Mode would block. Further work is being done on this by the Firefox Lite team to improve the user experiance.
I hope that this helps.

Hi Fritz
Yes, it should do a pretty good job. Are you still seeing adverts on a site? If so, please can you let me know the address of the site so that I can look into this further for you.
I have noticed that the ads are not blocked when I use Google News.
I would click on a link that takes me to say, businesstech.co.za and there would be ads.
When I type that website in Firefox Lite and enter the website the ads are gone.
So, the ads appear when, I visit some sites via Google News.

Thanks Seburo!
Like I said the ads appear when using Google News which has link to to other websites. When I go directly to these websites the ads disappear while using Firefox Lite.
I look forward to the next update and hope it gets better.
Firefox works great on Ubuntu, just a shame that Google unloads to many ads on Android. I guess being an ad agency that's their main income.
