Changing Thunderbird Chat Font to Fixed Width

Hi,

I'm curious if it is possible to change the font in Thunderbird Chat to a mono-spaced fixed-width font. I've poked around in settings and config, but so far I can only find font preferences for email, not chat.

It would be nice to have chat be mono-spaced to view all the glorious ASCII art on IRC channels' welcome messages. With the default variable-width font, most of these creations look like they got hit by a truck.
