Firefox asked me to "refresh Firefox" and now all my passwords are "missing" from Lockwise (sigh)

I'm not entirely sure where they went or what could have happened. The only thought I have is the other day I had a small button pop up on the bottom right of my browser that said I needed to "refresh Firefox" due to "slow performance" so I clicked it (admittedly the internet has been dragging) and now Lockwise is empty. This could be a coincidence or not related at all because I was pretty sure I paid my credit card this AM with an auto-filled password? It appears that I am indeed logged onto the Firefox sync so I am not sure. Working on an iMac desktop using Firefox 72.0.2. #sigh

Hey there,

Refreshing Firefox is basically restoring Firefox to its default state, so you'll need to recover your old profile data, such as passwords.

This article will walk you through restoring your profile and data. Initiating a refresh should already save a copy of your profile, but let me know if you have trouble finding it.

Perfect - I had referenced that article prior to posting this question but I was nervous about overriding the two "backup" password profiles ( key4.db + logins.json ) because their modified dates were newer than those in my actual library.

However, your question gave me the confidence boost I needed to just do it -- and everything works like a charm!

I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve it!
