My Thunderbird shows Up and coming tasks/events on the right hand side of my screen. Unfortuanatly its set to a maximum of 5 days ahead. I need to see about 30 days. I'm sure its an easy fix, but I just cannot find how to fix it. Please help?

Chosen solution

You can change this to show 4 weeks, which is probably a better option for you.

  • Menu app icon > Options > Calendar > General
  • The upcoming section shows: choose '4 weeks'

Fantastic! You are a Star Many Thanks

Not really, I have an account that currently shows all my e-mails which I need from day 1 I have a macbook air that has a new version that does not do a lot and I would like to be able to see every e-mail since day 1 on it Help required

garry8 You seem to be talking about the ability to show all emails which is working on one computer but failing on the macbook air. But it does not seem clear that you are talking about the same issue as described in the question. Are you talking about the 'Today Pane' which specifically is displaying the list of 'Events & Tasks' and you need to see the list of 'Events & Tasks'? Because the maximum possible is only 30 days. There is only one correct answer to this question and it has been select as a 'Chosen Solution'.

If no, nothing to do with the 'Today Pane' nor 'Events & Tasks' then you need to ask your own question as posting a comment in someone elses question is sending only that person an email plus anyone who is currently following this question.

Are you talking about Folders in the Folder Pane that contain emails you have received and sent? Are you talking out the 'Calendar' itself as displayed in the 'Calendar' tab which can show eg: 'All Events' in the section just above the actual Calendar. When you post your own question please be explicit in stating the exact issue, so we can try to offer help.

Hi, apologies, perhaps I did not explain my issue correctly I have a computer that uses thunderbird for an e-mail account that allows me to see every e-mail sent since I set up the account in April 2017, its now very slow in opening up but this could be an age or other non related concern, I'm unsure I bought a macbook air a year ago and after the thunderbird e-mail account onto the laptop expected to see the same as my on y old laptop, sadly I'm only allowed to see the past 30 days, I think I have looked around the programme to see if their was/is anything I can do Does my explanation help

Yes it explains that your problem has nothing to do with this original, solved thread. Please start your own so all the people that posted to this thread will stop getting notified when you post non-related info.
