I am migrating Mediacom POP web email to Thunderbird (so I can archive) and get only inbox - how do I get other folders (including sent)?

Mediacom is using Zimbra and POP. I setup Thunderbird and it got inbox OK but no other folders nor sent.

Chosen solution

Right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe..., click Refresh. Do the other folders appear in the list to check (subscribe)?

Copying mail to Local Folders will make it available after it's deleted from the IMAP server. Consider also using MailStore Home as an archiving tool.

POP setups only download the Inbox. To download Sent and other folders, set up the account as IMAP:

Thanks, but setting up Thunderbird again using IMAP (after uninstalling prior install) got me only "Inbox" (I didn't get this with POP) plus "Sent" folders (plus one I had created called "oldmail") but none of my other folders (nearly 40). Any other ideas? {as further explanation, I'm wanting to use Thunderbird so I can archive email locally because my on-line account is "full." Other ways might be possible (any other methods I can try?) but Mediacom (per their helpdesk) doesn't provide a way to download/archive email}

MailStore may be all I need but Thunderbird now also "works". Thanks!
