Not all email transfer to Thunderbird from server, most do, but some don't even when I forward the desired email to myself

An email with an attachment was sent to my main email account, but it never showed so the sender re-sent. Still no show. Resent again. Then I had them use my gmail address instead, still no show in Thunderbird. Eventually, I checked my server and there were all of the emails in the Inbox, so I forwarded the desired email to myself, still no show in Thunderbird. All other mail seems to come through fine. I've checked Tools>Filters and have none set. It did not go to junk. I need the email in a Thunderbird subfolder, but can't figure out how to get it to deliver. This was an expected email, and this situation makes me uneasy to think that perhaps I am missing other email as well. What can I try?

perhaps that too can be fixed.

Right click your account in the folder pane Select account settings from the menu In junk settings for the account select the correct folder on the account to be used for junk.

So sorry... issue resolved. It didn't go to the 'regular' junk file, it went into a secondary spam file I didn't even realize I had. Totally my mistake!
