Hello,

I am trying to install an extension from an external source (security extension who is not on the store), but i have some issues.

Firefox Version: 60.7 ESR (x64) ADMX: 1.7

Configuration: Addons > Allowed Sites: Enabled with the domain url of the editor in the list. Addons > Allow add-on install from websites: Enabled Extensions > Extensions to Install: Enabled with an url like: https://editor.com//extension-fx.xpi xpinstall.signatures.required: False

I can install all extensions from addons.mozilla.org but no extension from an external source (like github for exemple). I am able to install the extension manually, but not with GPO.

Do you have any idea about this issue? Thank you for your help.

Dear All,

Just for information, this problem is solved. I have replace admx file with last 1.7 version

  • With user policy, it seems not works
  • With computer policy, it works fine

So i'm now able to add extension from external store in my firefox.
