How can I mail a PDF file as an attachment from Firefox?
In Internet Explorer I can mail a PDF file as attachment to an email message, through File, Send....
I cannot find this option in Firefox. Is it possibe to mail a PDF file as an attachment from Firefox?
Thanks in advance.
With kind regards,

Hi Remon, Internet Explorer and the Adobe ActiveX plugin for IE have a more intimate connection with Windows than Firefox does. Unfortunately, Firefox only has a feature to send a link, not the actual document as an attachment. I don't know whether an add-on could do it; that may depend on whether you are using a webmail site to compose the message or an external program.

firefox isn't a email program and neither is IE.
I know. I think you do not understand me.
When I open a PDF file in IE and it is opend in IE (not adobe), I can send this PDF file as an attachment, via File, send, page via email. Outlook will then be opened. And then I can send the mail. The PDF file is then added as an attachment.
Is the above also possible in Firefox ESR.
Then your Windows 8.1 has a options that needs to be set where you get the option "mailto" so it works with browser opening a email to send by email.
