When I send an e mail to a group I often get some of them returned marked that the delivery time has expired. Why is this?

This looks like an error from your email provider's server having problems reaching the recipient provider's server. You'd need to talk to your email provider, and/or have the recipient check with his or her email provider. This has got nothing to do with Thunderbird.

The error notification gives the exact reason why the message has been returned. You haven't provided any more details other than 'delivery time has expired', so I'm not going to speculate about why.

The error notification reads "Delivery expired (message too old) (Errno61) Connection refused. Does that help?
