I'm not very computer savvy, and don't understand the need for them.. just to end up deleting the info at some point. Thank you for any help!

The browsing history can be disabled in Tools/Options/Privacy/Web Content, 'Remember websites...'. Not sure what other activity controls you wish to turn off.

Thank you for your help sfhowes... it worked! The activity control that I'm not sure about is in the drop down list of tools. It keeps a log of everything I do in the program. Do I need this? ... and if not, can I turn it off somehow? ... Thanks again!

The Activity Manager under Tools has a Clear List button, plus it automatically clears between TB restarts. I don't know if it can be disabled.

The list of recent folders and existing visited links are stored in the panacea.dat file in the profile folder. Delete or rename the file to have TB automatically create a new one.

Thank you for your response sfhowes. Great to know it clears between restarts.
